Joseph Stewartasked the President of the Board of Trade what progress has been made by his Department towards the setting up of new industries in the administrative county of Durham: and whether it is the intention of the Government to set up additional trading estates or trading sites and, if so, in what part of the county.
§ Mr. DaltonConsiderable progress has been made along the lines which I indicated in my reply to my hon. Friend on 13th December last. It is intended to set up additional trading estates in various parts of the county. The exact sites are now under consideration.
