§ Mr. Hammersleyasked the Minister of Labour what steps he is taking to inform Lancashire munition workers, whose services in munitions production may now be redundant, of the excellent prospects for training and employment in the cotton industry.
§ Mr. BevinI have recently discussed these matters with the Recruitment and Training Committee of the Cotton Board, and a Sub-Committee is considering proposals with a view to advising my Department. I am also asking them for advice as to the steps they propose to take to improve the prospects.
