Mr. De la Bèreasked the Secretary of State for War if he will endeavour to effect the release from military control of a hall at Evesham, of which he has had particulars, in view of the fact that the military authorities have made no use of it since March, 1944, and the urgent demands which have been put forward for other uses by the owners.
§ Sir J. GriggThis hall is now occupied by a military unit. Every endeavour was made to avoid using it, but no other suitable accommodation was available. I can assure my hon. Friend that it will be surrendered as soon as it can be spared.
