§ Lieut.-Colonel Walker-Smithasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the misunderstanding that has arisen in the public mind consequent on the raising of the limit of advances under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Act, he will re-state the maximum cost for which private enterprise builders can obtain licences for the erection of houses.
§ Mr. BevanThe maximum selling price applied to houses which may be erected under licence from local authorities at the present time is £ 1,200 including land, roads and services, or £ 1,300 in the London Region.
