§ Mr. J. McKayasked the Secretary of State for War why 1090977 L.A.C. Hunter, J., 57 Unit, R.A.F., S.E.A.A.F., 1661W India, after being overseas for three years nine months, is not getting his home leave and others in the same unit, who went out two months later, are on their way home.
§ Mr. StracheyL.A.C. Hunter is due for return to the United Kingdom, as we have now started to reduce the overseas tour for single men to 3½years. We cannot bring home at once all the extra men who have just become eligible for return, but we are making enquiries about the arrangements for this airman. I will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
