§ Mr. Gilzeanasked the Minister of Supply and of Aircraft Production if he is aware that large quantities of motor vehicle spares in Edinburgh are being disposed of for scrap by order of the Ministry of Supply, details of which have been 1068W sent him; and why these cannot be used for public or industrial needs.
§ Mr. WilmotThese are used spare parts. The building in which they were stored is requisitioned but in process of being returned to its former owners. Therefore those spare parts for which experience has shown that there is no outlet are being scrapped. The remainder will be transferred to a Government owned depot.
