HC Deb 14 December 1945 vol 417 cc883-4W
Major Wilkes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many collaborators of officer status from the Greek Quisling police and security forces, established by the Germans, have been executed to date; how many members of the three occupation Quisling cabinets have been sentenced to death; and in how many cases sentences have been carried out.

Mr. Noel-Baker

No collaborators of officer status from the Greek Police and security forces have been executed in Athens and the Piraeus. Information about the rest of Greece is being obtained and I will send it to my hon. and gallant Friend as soon as it is received. Four members of Quisling cabinets have been sentenced to death. Three of these were sentencedin absentia. The fourth case is under consideration by the Council of Pardons.
