§ Mr. W. Williamsasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that wage negotiations in the Trinidad oilfields broke down last May; and what action is proposed to resume consideration of the unsatisfactory wages in this industry.
§ Mr. George HallWage negotiations in the Trinidad oil industry were resumed on 26th November, and I am informed that there is a reasonable prospect of a new agreement being concluded in the near future.
