HC Deb 12 December 1945 vol 417 c585W
Mr. Levy

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if the relatively small amount of air transport necessary for at least a limited civilian postal service between this country and occupied territories can be allocated.

Mr. Burke

I have been asked to reply. 1 assume that my hon. Friend has Ger many and Austria particularly in mind, and 1 anticipate no difficulty in arranging, in collaboration with my noble Friend, the Secretary of State for Air, for a limited civilian air mail service as soon as the Allied Control Commissions authorise the resumption of postal communications with those countries.
