Mr. Vaneasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is satisfied that the war establishments of headquarters staffs in Ceylon have been cut down in proportion to the reduced duties now falling upon such staffs; and that officers filling existing vacancies are fully employed.
§ Mr. LawsonThese establishments are under constant review by the War Office. Reductions were recently effected and arrangements have been made for a further detailed examination early in January.
