HC Deb 04 December 1945 vol 416 c2290W
Squadron-Leader Donner

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of Pan-American Airways to fly four aircraft weekly from the U.S.A. to Bermuda, while the corresponding British service consists of only two aircraft; and whether he is prepared to take any measures to improve this situation.

Mr. Ivor Thomas

I am aware of the position in this matter, but the existing situation in regard to aircraft available does not permit an immediate increase in the British service.
