§ Mr. IsaacsThe latest date for which figures are available is the end of September when 2,930,000 persons were engaged in the manufacture of equipment and supplies of all kinds for the Forces. Under the present programme this figure should have fallen to 1,940,000 at the present time, compared with 1,270,000 at mid-1939.
