Major Lloydasked the President of the Board of Trade if he has figures for a comparison of the current export prices for American and British motorcars; and give an explanation of the discrepancy that exists between them.
§ Sir S. CrippsI have seen a report that the retail prices in the U.S.A. of the new production of motorcars there in 1946 will be about the same as the prices charged in January, 1942, but I have no information yet on which a suitable comparison could be made of the probable relationship of British and U.S. export prices.
