§ Sir E. Graham-Littleasked the Minister of Education what advice she has given to local education authorities for their guidance in the distribution of posts of special responsibility in schools; and how many of these posts have so far been given to graduates and to non-graduates, respectively.
§ Miss WilkinsonI have not given any advice to local education authorities on this matter and before considering whether it would be proper for me to do so I must await the submission by the Burn-ham Committees of their full reports which will include provisions for the detailed application of the approved scales. I regret that I am not in a position to give the detailed information asked for in the latter part of the question.
