§ Mr. S. Shephardasked the Prime Minister if Members of Parliament can be afforded the opportunity of visiting the British occupied zone in Germany, with a view to seeing how military government works.

There is no objection to organised parties of Members of Parliament visiting the British occupied zone of Germany providing conditions in that country remain as at present. Members will no doubt make their wishes known through the usual channels and then we can consider detailed arrangements.
