§ Captain Pluggeasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works whether he will house the Italians who are needed for house repair work in London in emergency huts in the parks during the coming winter when these resorts are little used by the public.
§ Mr. HicksSubstantial encroachments have already been made for war purposes on parks and open spaces in London. These areas are required for public enjoyment and recreation, and if Italian building labour is employed in London I hope that it will be possible to provide the accommodation required without further alienation of park land.
