§ Mr. Thorneasked the Secretary of State for Air why the wife of a man serving in the R.A.F. is having 3s. 6d. per week stopped from her allowance because she is living outside London.
§ Sir A. SinclairThe position of airmen's families in respect of the London allowance is the same as that of soldiers' families. I would accordingly refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to him by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War on 1st August, 1944. If my hon. Friend has any particular case in mind, I will, of course be glad to look into it.
