§ Mr. AttleeYes, Sir. As my hon. Friend is aware, the King has already approved the setting up of a Royal Commission an Equal Pay with the following terms of reference
To examine the existing relationship between the remuneration of men and women in the public services, in industry and in other fields of employment; to consider the social, economic and financial implications of the claim of equal pay for equal work; and to report.The membership of the Royal Commission is as follows;
