§ Mr. Jewsonasked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he has arranged for the necessary office accommodation for herring merchants, salesmen, curers, etc., at Great Yarmouth, at present under requisition by his Department, to be released immediately on the conclusion of hostilities in Europe.
Mr. AlexanderIt is the intention, subject to the needs of the Service and the prosecution of the remaining stages of the war, to arrange for the earliest practicable release of property held on requisition by the Admiralty. The release of the premises referred to by my hon. Friend will be effected in accordance with this principle.
