HC Deb 04 October 1944 vol 403 c961W
Mr. Naylor

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that temporary postmen in the London area are not provided with waistcoats as are the established postmen; and will he take steps to remedy this omission, seeing that both classes of men are carrying out the same outdoor duties.

Captain Crookshank

I have looked into the matter and I have given instructions that arrangements be made for a distribution of waistcoats throughout the country to temporary postmen who are supplied with uniform.
