§ Professor Hillasked the Lord President of the Council whether, in the interests both of maintaining a high standard of nutrition in this country and of avoiding waste of food urgently needed in others, the advice of the Scientific Food Policy Committee of the War Cabinet will be sought before any proposal is considered to lower the extraction rate of wheat flour below 82½ per cent.
