HC Deb 03 November 1944 vol 404 c1103W
Sir L. Lyle

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport if he will now consider organising a national publicity campaign to reduce the number of accidents, particularly to children, on the roads.

Mr. Noel-Baker

Yes, Sir. I hope it will be possible to organise a national campaign to start soon after the cessation of hostilities. Meanwhile we are taking every opportunity within the limitations imposed by war conditions of bringing the subject to the attention of the public. "Kerb Drill" is being stressed in propaganda to parents and children.
