Reedasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether on the formation of the L.D.V., when the distinguishing mark was an armlet, the German Government undertook to recognise its members as combatants, entitled to the treatment prescribed under International Law; and, in view of the treatment the Germans accorded to the Maquis out of uniform, what will be the status of the proposed German Home Guard, without uniforms, and wearing armlets.
