§ Mr. Parkerasked the Prime Minister whether the Africa Star can be given to those men in the R.A.F. who served in West Africa during 1939–1943 when the Vital work of establishing and working communications through that area to Cairo was performed.
§ The Prime MinisterI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Putney (Mr. Linstead) on 22nd September last. Service in West Africa is not a qualification for the Africa Star.
