§ Major Lyonsasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the fact that agricultural progress in this country would be much improved by arrangements for the distribution of increased supplies of electric power at reasonable rates throughout those country districts where no such facilities at present exist and by the installation of power units and other necessary equipment by long term instalment payments at low interest rates, he will consider taking steps to effect such improvements.
