Captain PitkingtonExcept in emergency, no rating over 48 years is drafted overseas unless he volunteers. As regards those at sea, endeavour is made to relieve them when they reach the age of 49, again, unless they volunteer to remain at sea. The question of priority for reservists does not, therefore, arise.
