§ Mr. Kirbyasked the Minister of Town and Country Planning what steps he is taking to ensure that post-war planning and development in the Port of Liverpool, and Merseyside generally, shall be comprehensive and conducive to the industrial and commercial well-being of the industrial and trading interests and to the work-people involved.
§ Mr. H. StraussThe authorities in Merseyside have, at my right hon. Friend's suggestion, formed the Merseyside Joint Advisory Planning Committee to consider and advise upon the planning of the area as a whole. As a further step towards securing that object my right hon. Friend has appointed two experts to prepare an outline plan for that area.
