§ Mr. Granvilleasked the Minister of Food if he will now consider increasing the ration of cheese to agricultural workers in view of the heavy nature of their work in areas where there are no canteen facilities for hot mid-day meals as at industrial war establishments in urban areas.
§ Colonel LlewellinA special ration of 12 ozs. of cheese per week is already available to certain categories of workers, including agricultural workers, who are unable to use canteens or other catering facilities and require to take packed meals to eat at their work. The present supply position would not permit of any increase in the special ration.
