asked the Secretary of State for War whether the recent announcement that Italian prisoners of war working on farms are to be replaced by German prisoners of war applies to Norfolk; and, if so, by what date he expects the change-over to be complete.

For the reasons I gave my hon. Friend on 5th December it is, I regret, not possible to extend the employment of German prisoners of war in this area.
