§ Lieut.-Commander Joynson-Hicksasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the breaches of the sea defences in West Sussex resulting from the activities of the Army and the requisitions of his Department are still unrepaired; that the coast is being washed away and property flooded with sea-water; and what steps he is taking to prevent the further deterioration of this situation.
