HC Deb 22 September 1943 vol 392 c223W
Mr. Reakes

asked the Minister of Information what representations he proposes to make with regard to the banning of the "Sunday Dispatch" in Eire by the Irish censor; and will he make it clear that such interference with the liberty of the British Press is resented in this country?

Mr. Thurtle

My right hon. Friend is not proposing to make any representations. The Ministry of Information is not concerned with the actions of the Eire censor.
