HC Deb 14 October 1943 vol 392 c1070W
Mr. Naylor

asked the Minister of Health whether any decision has been reached regarding preference being given by housing authorities to applicants for accommodation as between families bombed out of their homes and families of homeless ex-service men; and, if not, is it the intention of the Ministry to advise local authorities against showing preference to one class or the other, but to judge all applications on their merits?

Mr. E. Brown

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Maid-stone (Mr. Bossom) on 6th May last of which I am sending him a copy.
