HC Deb 12 October 1943 vol 392 c755W
Mr. Purbrick

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the proposal for the formation of a Free German Movement in this country has the sympathy of the Government and accords with their views; and, if not, will he take the necessary steps to stop such a movement?

Mr. George Hall

As my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs indicated on 28th July, His Majesty's Government do not propose to recognise any such movement in this country. At present His Majesty's Government do not see any reason to interfere with its activities.
