HC Deb 11 November 1943 vol 393 cc1315-6W
Mr. R. C. Morrison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government, in conjunction with the Allied Governments, will be prepared to consider offering a substantial reward for the capture or destruction of Nazi leaders?

Mr. George Hall

I agree with my hon. Friend that no means should be neglected to ensure the capture and punishment of the guilty Nazi leaders and other war criminals. But I hope that the measures that are now being worked out in collaboration with the Allied Governments concerned will make unnecessary the offer of pecuniary or other inducements.
