The President of the Scottish National Farmers' Union discussed the case with me on 22nd October, when I explained the legal position in regard to tenancies of land which has not been sold1114W since the beginning of the war. I subsequently sent him a copy of the letter I wrote to my hon. Friend on 2nd August last.
