§ Mr. MabaneThis Order was made to amend the Bread (Control and Maximum Price) Order, 1943, so as, first, to enable a retailer, in the event of his registered supplier being prevented from supplying him owing to a temporary breakdown in production, to obtain supplies from another source, and secondly, to enable a roundsman who has run short of supplies to obtain these from another supplier nearer than his own firm's premises, thus avoiding unnecessary use of transport.
