§ Sir K. WoodThe Entertainments National Service Association is a voluntary organisation without funds. It bears no part of the cost of national service entertainment and the personnel engaged in this work are in the employment of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes. The approximate gross cost of national service entertainment provided in the current 1641W financial year, including salaries of administrative staff, is £2,200,000. The information asked for in the second part of the Question is not immediately available.
