§ Lieut.-Colonel Macnamaraasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will take steps to prevent officers and men who leave the Forces with gratuities, pensions or commutable pensions, both during and after the war, from being lured into parting with their money; and whether, when any such money is paid, he will, at any rate once, send to the recipient a note warning him of these dangers and telling how to set about seeking sound advice?
§ Sir K. WoodNo doubt this matter will be considered at the appropriate time by the responsible Departments.
