asked the Minister of Health how many of the 101 cases and 15 deaths from diphtheria referred to in his memorandum on diphtheria in Northamptonshire occurred in 1941 and how many in 1942; and of the cases and deaths under five years of age, how many occurred in 1941 and how many in 1942?

asked the Minister of Health how many children over five years of age were immunised in the country areas of Northamptonshire in each six months of 1942?

Mr. Brown

The numbers of children aged five to 15 who were immunised against diphtheria in the county districts of Northamptonshire in the two half years referred to were approximately 730 and 1,920.
