§ Mr. Leachasked the Minister of Agriculture whether the New Forest Verderers' Court will keep records of the young cattle compulsorily inoculated against contagious abortion; whether a live vaccine or a dead vaccine is to be used in the inoculations; and what means will the verderers' court have of ascertaining whether the inoculated cattle have actually been protected by the inoculations?
Mr. HudsonI understand that the verderers have under consideration a scheme of calf vaccination against contagious abortion to operate in the New Forest next year, but I am as yet unaware of the details of the proposed scheme.
