§ Colonel StanleyNo plans are at present being considered for the extension of local government in Trinidad, though the Franchise Committee may have recommendations to make, when it reports, affecting the qualifications of municipal electors. The major subject of discussion recently between the Port of1598W Spain city council and the Colonial Government has been the question of the water supply of the town and its relation to the central water supply scheme. So far as I am aware, these discussions have not yet been concluded.
