§ Mr. MabaneYes, Sir. In most cases kippers are being cured at the present time in the orthodox manner. There is, however, evidence of undesirable practices on the part of some traders which would appear to be an offence against the Fish (Maximum Prices) Order. My Department is taking action to deal with cases of this kind.
