Friend intends that the handling and distribution of cured herring from Iceland should be exclusively placed in the hands of the British Herring Trade Association, I regret this is not possible, but my Noble Friend has recently been glad to avail himself of the co-operation of the British Herring Trade Association in the distribution of an allotment of Icelandic cured herring for the home trade in cured herring. In the504W event of further supplies becoming available for distribution for the home trade in cured herring, he will be glad to have the renewed co-operation of the association.
