§ Mr. BrackenOn 1st February, 1943, the total number of staff employed in this country by the Ministry of Information (exclusive of staff employed by the Postal and Telegraph Censorship Department) was 2,824. Of these, 644 were men between 18 and 41 (including 142 medically rejected or discharged from the Forces) and 805 were women between 19 and 30.
