§ Sir K. WoodNo, Sir. The policy of the Government on this matter remains as stated by my right hon. Friend the Lord President of the Council on 3rd July, 1941. Subject to this policy, the Government have taken steps from time to768W time, in the light of the changing manpower position, to ensure that all publicity staffs are kept to the essential minimum. I can assure my hon. Friend that the matter will remain under close review.
