HC Deb 07 December 1943 vol 395 cc794-5W
Dr. Morgan

asked the Postmaster-General whether, in the pending Workmen's Compensation Bill, there will be any arrangements for changes in medical procedure in dealing with cases of workmen's compensation arising from accident or disabilities sustained in the course of Post Office employment, so as to reform the present inequitable arrangements?

Captain Crookshank

I am unable to accept my hon. Friend's suggestion that the present arrangements are inequitable. I am not responsible for legislation relating to workmen's compensation, but in my opinion it would be inappropriate to legislate specifically for Post Office servants.
