HC Deb 04 August 1943 vol 391 c2314W
Commander King-Hall

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether any steps are being taken to provide Hansard at large naval libraries and the information centres which have been set up at shore establishments?

Captain Pilkington

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which my right hon. Friend the First Lord gave to him on 2nd June on this subject. In the absence of any general request for Hansard from the personnel of the fleet, no steps have been taken to include it in the naval libraries or information rooms at shore establishments. Endeavour is being made, however, to increase the supply to such establishments of the daily newspapers which contain reports of Parliamentary Debates.
