§ Mr. PeakeAs regards the first two parts of the Question, my hon. Friend will appreciate that, while my right hon. Friend is naturally anxious to collect such information as can be derived from various sources, it is of too fragmentary a nature to justify the making of a statement to the House. As regards the third part, the best way to help our fellow countrymen in the Islands is to bring the war to a victorious and speedy conclusion.
