§ Mr. John Beattieasked the Prime Minister whether he will give the House an opportunity of discussing the Motion standing in the name of the hon. Member for West Belfast?
[That this House views with grave concern the situation in Northern Ireland where over twenty thousand workers are unemployed due to idle industries, which represents a glaring contradiction to the urgent need of this country and its Allies; and is of opinion that special steps should be taken to revive industry and ensure employment to all workers in Northern Ireland.]
§ The Prime MinisterSir. The present state of public business affords no opportunity for discussion of the Motion standing in the name of my hon. Friend.
