HC Deb 30 September 1942 vol 383 c796W
Sir C. Edwards

asked the Minister of Health the number of persons who received the full amount recently added to supplementary pensions; the number who received less; and the number of applicants who were refused altogether?

Miss Horsbrugh

In about 1,084,000 of the total of 1,101,000 supplementary pensions cases reviewed in August, the pensioners have received the increases in full. In the remaining 17,000 cases approximately 13,500 received less than the full increase and 3,500 no increase.
